Questions
Everything an investor asks,
answered in plain words.
Twenty-six questions across the company, the method, the standard, the record, families, schools, governance and the business model.
Company
What exactly is Embreier?
Embreier is a software-enabled human-development company.
The system has three connected parts: a repeatable developmental method, a professional standard governing how qualified adults deliver and observe it, and software that keeps the resulting development record over time.
The purpose is not to run programmes. It is to make human development observable, actionable and accountable across the environments around a young person.
Is Embreier an education company or a software company?
Both are required.
The method creates structured opportunities in which development can be observed. The professional standard governs the quality of delivery and observation. The software preserves the record and connects observations to actions and to what followed.
Without the method, the system records uncontrolled inputs. Without the standard, observations carry no consistent provenance. Without the record, useful developmental information disappears between sessions, adults and institutions.
Who is Embreier built for?
The direct users are the adults responsible for a young person’s development: educators, teachers, schools and families.
The software is deliberately built around those adults rather than around adding to a child’s screen time.
The method
What happens in an Embreier session?
The core protocol runs for ninety minutes, in a group of eight, in four phases.
MovePauseMakeBelong
The activities change. The underlying architecture stays the same. That produces repeated developmental opportunities while keeping enough consistency for delivery and observation to be compared over time.
What does the method develop?
It is designed around the human capacities that carry across learning and life rather than around a single academic subject: regulation, attention, persistence, creativity and cooperation among them.
The distinction that matters: Embreier does not assign a score to a young person. It creates situations in which capacities can be exercised, and observed, repeatedly.
Why ninety minutes, and groups of eight?
The format gives enough time and social complexity for meaningful developmental behaviour to appear, and stays small enough for a qualified adult to observe individual children closely.
The professional standard
What makes one Embreier session comparable with another?
Delivery is governed by a common professional standard.
Educators are trained and certified against the same method, and delivery is observed against defined criteria rather than assumed to be consistent because someone completed a training.
Certification therefore governs who can generate stronger evidence inside the system.
Why does certification matter?
If two adults observe the same young person differently, the reliability of the record depends partly on who made the observation, under what conditions, and with what qualification.
Embreier treats the observer as part of the data-generating system, not as a neutral window onto it.
Can schools use their own teachers?
Yes. An institution can begin with a controlled pilot and then certify its own professionals.
That is how delivery moves from Embreier to the institution without losing the standard that governs it.
The development record
What is the development record?
A longitudinal software record that connects four things in order.
the opportunity created→what was observed→the action chosen→what happened next
Instead of producing isolated assessments, the record accumulates evidence around one young person through time.
What actually goes into it?
The underlying unit is not a score.
An observation carries the developmental opportunity, the setting, the exposure, the strength of the evidence and its provenance, including who made it.
That is what allows a later decision to remain traceable to the evidence it rested on.
What comes out of it?
The record helps the adults around a young person see what has been observed, where the evidence is still thin, what should come next, and what happened after that action was taken.
The objective is a closed developmental loop, not another dashboard of disconnected measurements.
Is the software for children?
No. It is for the qualified adults around the young person. The child does not need another application.
Where does AI fit?
Models can assist synthesis and propose next actions. The system is built so that any proposal stays traceable to the observations underneath it, and a named human stays responsible for the decision.
The model is an assistance layer, never the source of truth, and never in the room with the child.
Why families first
Why start with families rather than selling to schools?
Because families are the shortest route to proving the whole system under controlled conditions.
Embreier delivers the method directly, follows the same young people over time, tests whether the professional standard survives transfer between educators, and improves the record from live use.
That is a proving ground, before institutional deployment.
Does that make Embreier a consumer business?
No. Direct family delivery is the first operating environment and a real revenue line, and it is also the live proving ground for the method, the standard and the record.
The scalable institutional model is different: an institution adopts the system, certifies its own people, and holds one standard across a site.
Schools and institutions
How does a school start?
The adoption path is deliberately progressive.
pilot→certified professionals→site standard→longitudinal outcomes
No school has to change its operating model on day one. It begins with a controlled implementation, establishes delivery quality and evidence, then expands.
What changes when it expands across a school?
More people deliver the method, and the standard underneath stays the same.
The record then keeps observations and developmental decisions connected across educators and across time, rather than losing them when a class, a teacher or a school year changes.
Why would a school need this if it already has an SIS, an LMS or an assessment platform?
Those systems hold academic, administrative or assessment information.
Embreier begins from a different data object: a developmental opportunity linked to an observation, its provenance, an action and what followed.
It is built to create a longitudinal developmental record, not another repository for grades, surveys or curriculum content.
Evidence and governance
Is Embreier claiming it can measure human development perfectly?
No. Development is contextual, and observations differ in strength.
The system is designed to preserve uncertainty rather than disguise it. Evidence accumulates, is qualified by its provenance, and strengthens through repeated observation.
How do you know the method is delivered properly?
Fidelity is controlled through the professional standard, scored against the same items every session.
That separates two questions people routinely confuse: did the intervention work, and was the intervention actually delivered as intended. Reading an outcome honestly requires both.
How is information about children governed?
Explicit and revocable consent, provenance on every observation, controlled access, small-cohort suppression, and traceability between evidence and the decisions that followed.
The governing principle is simple: developmental information about a young person must not become more powerful while becoming less accountable.
Business model
What does Embreier sell?
Three connected products come out of one system.
MethodDevelopmental programmes, and institutional implementation.StandardProfessional certification, fidelity audit, site implementation.RecordSoftware holding the longitudinal development record.
They reinforce one another rather than operating as unrelated revenue lines.
What is the scalable unit?
At the institutional level, the site.
Once the method and the professional standard are established, a school qualifies its own people while the record provides the common infrastructure across delivery, observation and outcomes.
What stops Embreier becoming a people-heavy services company?
Direct delivery proves and improves the system. It is not the scaling architecture.
Scale comes from codifying the method, qualifying other professionals to deliver it, auditing fidelity, and providing the software layer that keeps the record.
What exists today?
The method is delivered with families at published pricing. Educators are training and certifying against a common standard. The development record is being built around live delivery, at MVP scope.
This first operating environment is where the evidence, the reliability and the governance are established, before wider institutional scaling.
