The Method
-
The Embreier sequence follows the way children truly develop: through the body first, then awareness, creation, and connection.
In Move, energy finds its rhythm. In Pause, the child begins to notice what is happening inside. In Make, attention deepens, challenge becomes workable, and agency begins to take shape. In Belong, the child feels their place in the group and starts to understand their effect on others.
The rhythm remains constant, while the activities evolve. This consistency gives the nervous system something to trust, allowing new patterns to settle and become part of how the child moves through the world.
-
Within this structure, the educator holds two positions at once: the attentive adult who notices the subtle shifts, and the trusted participant who can enter the play and gently change its direction.
The learning is never imposed. It is modelled through experience: the ease of sharing, the pleasure of helping someone younger, the quiet confidence that comes from including another child in the game.
This is how growth becomes visible. Not as a lesson, but as a new way of being that begins to feel natural.

Three weeks in your child’s first language, one week in a second. Language grows the way everything does here: through warmth, conversation, and careful description, never through drills.

What a Certified Educator DeliversCe qu’un éducateur certifié transmet
The four-phase Arc is what a family sees. Beneath it, a certified educator observes and calibrates development along twenty-eight capacity spectra, tuned to the child’s age.L’arc en quatre phases est ce qu’une famille voit. En dessous, un éducateur certifié observe et calibre le développement le long de vingt-huit spectres de capacités, ajustés à l’âge de l’enfant.

Development runs along balances. On each, evidence points to where a child is best served. Embreier holds a defined set of twenty-eight, and the certified educator calibrates each session toward the point research identifies as optimal.

What the Method Develops
Four capacities, built in sequence, observed each week.
1. Body regulation
They return to calm more quickly. After frustration, you see the shift. At the end of a long day, they come back to themselves with more ease.
2. Emotional steadiness
They begin to find their own way back, in more than one way.
3. Creative agency
They stay with what they start. When something needs another go, they begin again with pride. What they choose, they feel proud of.
4. Social intelligence
They listen to understand, and share to contribute. They relate in the group with ease, creating connection that supports both themselves and others.

Educator Standards
Every session is led by a certified educator. Through certification and re-certification, the method remains quality-assured and true to its standard.
-
Our Embreier educators are local to each country. In Switzerland, they hold Master’s-level training in psychology, early education, and related fields from universities such as UNIL and EPFL, and speak both French and English fluently.
-
They observe before intervening and guide by demonstrating the prosocial and steady way.
Selected from leading universities for both training and empathy, each educator completes mandatory co-teaching hours before leading sessions and joins regular team assemblies to share observations and grow together. Our team embodies the Embreier philosophy: children and adults grow in reciprocity. -
Delivery is scored against the Embreier Method Adherence Checklist.
-
Every week, your educator shares a private observation on your child’s growth. A small window into the way they are finding calm, building confidence, and meeting the world.
Every educator recertifies each year.
-
The childhood years are a powerful window for shaping emotional regulation, executive function, and prosocial behaviour. When children practise these capacities consistently, in the same trusted environment, they begin to shape how the child responds, relates, and grows.
