Accessibility

Embreier wants every visitor to read, understand and use embreier.com, whatever device, assistive technology or way of working they bring to it. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across the site, and we hold the Kalyr product interfaces to the same aim.

The site is built with structure first: one heading order per page, landmarks for navigation and content, text that scales with your browser settings, and layouts that reflow from wide screens to a phone and stay inside the screen.

Some recorded product sessions and films carry their meaning in a transcript on the page rather than in captions inside the player. Some diagrams describe their content in nearby text rather than in a long description. The translated French pages are produced automatically and may lag the English pages in accessibility detail. We review these points with each release of the site.

Pages are checked at desktop and phone widths, with keyboard only, with browser zoom, with reduced motion on, and with a screen reader on the main pages. Automated checks run on each page before it goes live, and what lies beyond their reach is checked by hand.

If a page, a figure or a form is hard for you to use, or if you would like any content in another format, write to us and tell us the page address and what happened. We reply within ten working days and fix what we can with the next release of the site.
