GENERAL
-
We meet each child where they are, with two formats for ages 4 to 15, across Root, Rise, and Reach.
Embreier Signature is our 90-minute flagship format, built around a consistent developmental arc in a small group, where emotional and social capacities build with confidence, with the educator attuned to each child, moment by moment.
Embreier Wednesday provides full Wednesday coverage from 12:00–18:00, extending the same experience across the afternoon, designed with respect for our parents’ need.
Both formats follow the same principles. Both are open across all three age bands. The difference is simply the duration. -
Embreier welcomes children from 4 to 15, across three developmental bands: Root, ages 4 to 9, Rise, ages 10 to 13, and Reach, ages 13 to 15.
Groups are small, with eight children, organised by age band, and held by the same educator each week.
If your child is close to four, or near the edge of an age range, write to us. We will advise gently on timing and help you find the right placement.
-
Maximum 8 children per group. The same group and the same educator stay together each week.
-
Your child is with a consistent, highly trained Embreier educator each week, in a small group designed for attention and ease.
Our educators hold advanced training in psychology or pedagogy, including from EPFL and UNIL, and are further trained in the Embreier Method. Fluent in English and French, they create a calm, well-held environment where children can settle, engage, and grow at their own pace.
After each session, they are available for a brief conversation if you’d like.
-
Often, yes. Mixed ages work very well in Embreier.
Some families choose a shared experience, others prefer each child to have their own space. Both are well supported.
-
Each session includes a flexible arrival window. Children joining slightly after the start time enter during the movement phase, which absorbs this naturally.
If your timing is specific, let us know and we’ll confirm whether the group fits.
-
Yes. Embreier is designed to build a strong foundation for long-term resilience and social intelligence.
Children learn to settle, adapt, and relate to others in ways that become natural over time. This happens in an engaging, socially fulfilling setting, where these capacities are practiced as part of the experience, without added pressure.
With a consistent rhythm, a small group, and a familiar educator each week, children are met where they are and find their place naturally.
-
More ease in transitions. Mornings, arrivals, and evenings feel smoother.
Feelings move through more easily. Children begin to trust that they can.
Greater independence. More initiative in small tasks and daily routines.
Steadier presence. Calmer responses, even in moments of frustration.
A lighter rhythm for you. One full afternoon is held, with nothing to organise or follow up.
-
Embreier is currently available in selected locations across Vaud and Geneva. Groups are kept intentionally small so the experience remains consistent and fulfilling for every family. You are welcome to apply to see current openings. If a space is not available right away, we will guide you on timing and support your placement.
EMBREIER WEDNESDAY
-
Most Wednesday options are patchwork: supervision here, an activity there, more coordination for you.
Embreier Wednesday is one complete afternoon held by the same educator, in the same rhythm, every week. Children know what comes next, responsibilities are shared, and learning compounds instead of resetting. -
Children arrive, share a meal, work alone or with support, then move into creative and physical activities before closing the day as a group. The sequence stays the same each week. The activities change over the month.
-
Please send a packed lunch, a snack for the afternoon, and comfortable clothes for movement. All materials, activities, and structure are provided. There is no homework, coordination, or follow-up required at home.
-
Yes, on Wednesdays. Quiet time for homework or independent work is built into the afternoon. Educators support without rushing or pressure.
-
You collect your child directly from the session room during calm transition windows at 13:15–13:30, 14:45–15:00, 16:15–16:30, or 17:45–18:00.
These 15-minute windows allow time to reconnect and briefly speak with the educator.
If your child stays for the full Wednesday, pickup is between 17:45 and 18:00, with time to check in before heading home.
EMBREIER SIGNATURE
-
Each session follows a steady rhythm: movement to settle, a short transition into chosen challenge, self-initiated creative work, and a closing circle.
The structure is consistent. What happens within it is alive.
Content moves in four-week cycles. Over time, children grow into steadiness, capability, and confidence.
-
Most after-school activities build isolated skills.
Embreier builds habits.Emotional regulation. Listening. Sharing. Collaboration.
In a consistent, neuroscience-based sequence, children settle faster and take responsibility sooner. Confidence grows week after week. -

Yes. Embreier works with selected schools and employers to make access easier for families and support a consistent weekly rhythm for children.
Most partnerships begin with a Discovery Workshop. From there, we may move into a Term Pilot, and eventually a Full Year Partnership where Embreier becomes part of the organisation’s regular support for children and families.
