EMBREIER
Across Embreier environments, children build emotional regulation, cooperation, and responsibility as habits in a fun, engaging way. While children are in session, parents have space to pause, connect, or simply have time back.
Embreier did not begin as a members house or company. It began as a personal inquiry. Things are going well on the surface, but daily moments can feel rushed, reactive, or harder than they need to be. Over time, it becomes clear that what makes the biggest difference is not more activities, but how children learn to respond to themselves and to others.
Over the past five years, working with children and families in Norway, Shanghai, and New York, one thing has become clear. These abilities are shaped by environment. What is repeated becomes how a child naturally responds to life.
Each week, children enter a 90 minute session designed in line with how the brain develops. Every session follows a simple sequence: Move, Pause, Make, Belong. Movement regulates the body. Stillness builds attention. Creative work develops agency. The group builds connection. The order is deliberate. It is how behaviour becomes habit.
Our educators, trained in psychology and pedagogy, work alongside the children. They model how to regulate, repair, and relate in real time. Over time, children learn to settle themselves when emotions rise, work constructively with others, and follow through on what they begin.
In our members’ houses, this extends beyond the session. While children are engaged, adults have space. Member families shape what grows around it, from parent–child experiences to small gatherings and evenings they want to be part of. A community forms around shared values of long-term development and education, where local and expat families naturally come together.
In a world shaped by technology, our response is to develop these human capacities more deliberately in the next generation. At Embreier, children build socio-emotional intelligence early through environments grounded in psychology and neurobiology, so it becomes how they naturally act. They carry this steadiness and relational intelligence into their lives, shaping their families and the environments around them.

What a child needs to know keeps changing. How they meet it does not. The capacities underneath the knowing hold their value across a whole life, long after any single lesson is behind them. Children from four to fifteen are inside that window now, and Embreier builds them week after week, alongside all that school already gives. We contribute to learning science through practice-based insights from our in-person programmes. What we see in session helps deepen understanding of how children learn, regulate, and connect in real-world settings, while respecting the privacy of children and families.
